Frigid Weather Here to Stay for the Weekend

The temperature will creep back to above freezing early next week, but bundle up for Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Any hope that the negative temperatures and bone chilling breezes would subside in time for the weekend have been dashed by the National Weather Services forecast.

A wind chill advisory and hazardous weather outlook are in effect through 10 a.m. Friday, primarily because of the expected -9ºF wind chill. There's also a chance of snow tonight. Yikes!

Looking further into the weekend residents of East Windsor and Windsor Locks can expect fairly nice days with temperatures in the 20s.

Monday could bring a wintery mix and 30ºF, and, dare I write it; by Wednesday it could be 50ºF and raining. What?!
