On June 2, a 2.1-mile hike on a multi-use trail along the scenic Scantic River will take place as part of CT Trails Da.
The area is rich with recreational opportunities, from canoeing and kayaking to hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
The hike is sponsored by the American Heritage River Commission and will take place rain or shine. Pre-registration is appreciated.
