East Windsor Community Day Celebration is Saturday

This is the 25th year that residents of town have gathered to celebrate all that is special about their community.

On Saturday morning, hundreds of people will parade down Main Street from the Town Hall to the East Windsor Middle School where they will gather for fun, laughter and good food.

In honor of the 25th Annual East Windsor Community Day Fair this year's theme is "Community Spirit." To show this spirit, the event will include live, local entertainment, demonstrations from community groups, local business booths and games for children.

Recipients of this year's Community Spirit Award will also be recognized. Those residents and community groups include:

  • Tim Smith
  • Ernie Teixiera
  • Rand Stanley
  • JoAnne Burnham
  • Gina Couture
  • Cathy Simonelli
  • Ken Goldstein
  • Chris Mickey
  • Theresa Denis
  • Deanna Elliott
  • East Windsor Rotary Club
  • East Windsor Lions Club
  • American Heritage River Commission, and
  • George Butenkoff, a longtime Community Day volunteer who recently died.
