Broad Brook Fire Carnival Lights The Night Friday
Fireworks lit the sky over Broad Brook Friday night.
The continued its annual carnival Friday, at the corner of Routes 190 and 140, with a 20-minute fireworks display.
The department’s fundraiser runs through today and includes a petting zoo, elephant and pony rides, games, and food. The annual fire parade, which features fire equipment from departments around the state, will be tonight.
The midway is being provided by R.W. Commerford & Sons. The cost for rides is $20 pay one price wristband, and $16 with coupon for all three days.
