There are many activities scheduled for May at the Senior Center.
The East Windsor Senior Center will be participating in a Wii Tournament with the Vernon Senior Center on May 4, 2012. The tournament will take place at the Vernon Senior Center and will begin at 1:00 p.m. The Senior Center is looking for a few good men and women for the booster club to cheer them on!
The Senior Center will be hosting presentations in the month of May. Those presentations are: Board of Finance, “Discussion of Proposed Budget” on May l, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.; Rose Hiskes, Horticulturist, will present “Bad Beetles” on May 10, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.; Verizon will be presenting “Tablet/Smartphone Training” on May 18, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.; a monthly business presentation from a local business, Headlines & Highlights, on May 9, 2012; and, Police Chief DeMarco and Deputy Chief Hart will present “Emergency Management” on May 29, 2012.
On May 11, 2012, at 9:30 a.m., the East Windsor Senior Center will be traveling to Hartford XL Center to watch Ringling Brothers Circus! There are twelve seats available at a senior discounted price!
On May l7, 2012, the East Windsor Senior Center will be hosting an Anniversary Celebration of the opening of the Senior Center. Come and reminisce about the good times at the Senior Center for the last thirty-two years!
