Come have a dog gone good time at the East Windsor Barktoberfest on Saturday October 6th from 11am – 4pm at East Windsor Park, 27 Reservoir Ave. Enjoy a family friendly day for you and your furry friend.
Admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine. 200 give away bags will be handed out. Visit our vendors and adoption groups. Ellington Center Animal Clinic will be sponsoring a rabies/microchip clinic from 12 – 3pm for an extra fee.
Showcase For Dogs will be starting off the demonstrations with a rally/obedience demo at noon. There will be a children’s book reading by East Windsor native Theresa McCormick Pelham author of “Roxy’s Forever Home” at 1pm.
Following the book reading there will be dog themed contests followed by more K9 demonstrations. Of course don’t leave without treating your dog to the very popular all-day swim in our reservoir. Swim pass is $10 per dog. Dogs must be licensed and respond to voice command.
All money raised will support the maintenance and improvements at the East Windsor Dog Park. Bring a pet food donation to help out our local food pantry. Sponsor and vendor opportunities are still available. For more information please visit our website at www.freewebs.com/ewdogpark.
