Seward Johnson’s Iconic Art is Coming to Suffield
Students, local artisans, and families will all enjoy these bronze works of art which are free to the public and placed in open spaces for three months. Seward is renowned globally for his monumental and life-size bronze figurative sculptures. His work is exhibited internationally and included in numerous private collections, museums, and public art collections. Seward’s statues are described as a Norman Rockwell picture set in 3D.
The May 18, 2024, kickoff invites residents and visitors to celebrate the internationally renowned art of Seward Johnson statues. Historical tours, art and music venues will be available during the day. The Seward Johnson Art Trail is designed to showcase the beautiful aspects of Suffield’s historic rural town. May 18 features the works of Suffield High Schools photography classes (past and present) will be on display during from 1-3pm in the High School commons and Suffield Academy (9-12) art shows on the Green as well as additional professional artists who will perform and display their works, historical museum tours, art and music venues will be available during the day. 
The trail will be available and publicized for the summer months with a variety of activities planned to include a geocaching event.

D'n'A Art and Craft Summer Camp for kids provide a creative outlet for our kids to have fun, make friends and making . These art-filled weeks are designed around a single exciting theme combining STEM and ART to create unique "START" activities to help our young minds think creatively and problem solve through arts and crafts. 
All Summer START Weeks Ages 4 to 10 4 weeks of camp starting June 24th. Monday-Friday, Half Day and Full Day options available 10:00 - 1:00pm / 1:00pm- 4:00-pm A day of art-rageous fun, art and craft, games, and puzzles All materials and supplies
